Guided by Servant Leadership
Wellspring is led by a board of directors, supported by dedicated staff, and powered by volunteer leaders who model the values of service, compassion, and community that define our organization.
Effective nonprofit leadership is not about prominence — it is about accountability, vision, and the humble willingness to serve. Our leaders set the direction, steward our resources responsibly, and create the conditions that allow our mission to flourish.

Our Governance Commitment
Wellspring operates under the governance of a volunteer board of directors who are accountable to our community and to our charitable mandate.
As a CRA-registered charity (839986080RR0001), we are required to meet federal standards for charitable governance and file annual information returns. Our board meets regularly to provide oversight, review financial statements, and ensure that our programs remain aligned with our mission and values.
We believe in transparent, accountable organizational leadership. Our board members serve without personal financial interest, are drawn from the communities we serve, and bring a diverse range of skills and perspectives to our governance work.
We also believe that good governance is not simply a compliance exercise — it is an expression of the trust the community places in us, and we take that trust seriously.
