Wellspring's Community Food Pantry has expanded its offerings to include fresh produce and culturally appropriate food options for a wider range of community members.
This summer, Wellspring is launching a new enrichment program for youth ages 10–17, featuring outdoor activities, skill-building workshops, and community service projects.
Wellspring recently recognized over 75 dedicated volunteers at our annual appreciation gathering — honouring the remarkable individuals who make our programs possible.
Each year, Wellspring looks back on the programs we've delivered, the families we've served, and the community connections we've strengthened — not to celebrate ourselves, but to reflect on the work and recommit to the mission.
This year's highlights included our most successful Christmas Hamper Program to date, serving families across a broader area than ever before. Our Senior Outreach initiative reached a record number of isolated seniors in the rural parts of Lunenburg County. And our Youth After-School Program saw its highest enrollment and strongest participant outcomes.
None of this would have been possible without the generosity, dedication, and faith of our volunteers and community supporters. We are grateful — and motivated — to continue.
